Jay Z's old homies put the rapper on blast.

Seems like some of Jay-Z's old buddies aren't too happy with him these days. Call it jealousy, if you like, but a few of his former friends have been speaking out against him lately. The latest to turn his back on the Almighty Hova s a fella by the name of Dehaven, who recently uploaded a video to YouTube.com claiming to "expose" the current Def Jam President.

Though Dehaven doesn't actually give any incriminating details about Jay-Z in the video, he states numerous times that he is going to "expose" Jay-Z "for who he really is." As the video concludes, Dehaven mentions "the book," as if to imply that he will provide the details of this expose in a tell-all. He further warns that he is going to let viewers know everything about Jay-Z. Dehaven, of Brooklyn's Marcy Projects, somehow claims to be responsible for Roc-A-Fella Records, and threatens to talk about Jay's family, including his mother.

While the video is playing, a Jay-Z song which mentions Dehaven ("Dehaven introduced me to the game" --Jay-Z) plays in the background. And though Dehaven's accusations seem a bit unwarranted, he is not the first former affiliate to have gone sour. During an interview with DJ Kay Slay for the satellite radio station Shade 45 in late July, former Brooklyn drug dealer Calvin Klein goes in pretty hard on Jay-Z as well. (Klein was mentioned on Jay-Z's song "Allure" and more recently has worked as a tour manager for singing sensation Akon.)

In the interview, Klein discredits Jay-Z's hustlin' past, callin' him "a soldier," and goes on to say that only 10% of what Jay has said in his rhymes is true. "Maybe if I would have came home and put my foot on Jay-Z's neck, maybe I would have been cuttin' a check to him," he suggests. Klein speaks boldly about his feelings on Jay. "To me, Jay's a white boy on the inside," he says.

Will Jay address all the drama? "I don't think he's gonna respond," says Klein, before adding "he better not." Jay has seldom responded to numerous attacks on his character. Back in 2001, Jay-Z's mentor Jaz-O expressed his own grievances with their friendship in an interview with the Source. Jaz-O described a disloyal Jay-Z who turned his back on him. Also, last year in a televised interview with BET News, former Roc-a-fella CEO Damon Dash questioned the loyalty of his former partner. With all these friends, does Jay need enemies?
