The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards are set to go down this Sunday (Jan. 31), but unfortunately Rihanna will not be performing on music’s biggest stage.
Since Rihanna’s domestic feud with then boyfriend Chris Brown rocked last year's ceremony several hours before it commenced, RiRi has opted to not touch the stage in fear of her altercation with Brown overshadowing the festivities.
During an interview on Carson Daly’s Amp Radio show yesterday (Jan. 27), the pop starlet told Daly, “We messed their show up pretty bad last year. They might be a little mad at me.” Reps from Chris Brown’s label have yet to confirm if Breezy will attend the awards this Sunday.
All is not lost as Rihanna has secured two nods for the Best Rap/Sung Category and Best Rap Song from her appearance on Jay-Z’s “Run This Town” from his “Blueprint 3” opus.
