Randy Hubbard Parker, the son of Simone G. Parker and rap legend KRS-One, was found dead in his Atlanta apartment this past weekend.Cause of death is a suicide. He was 23 years old.
According to a press release, his mother cites "severe depression" as the cause of her son's sudden death.
Randy Parker, originally from Queens, N.Y., was a graphic designer and was reportedly seeking employment in the Atlanta area.
A private memorial service will be held in Florida on July 17, which would've been Randy Parker's 24th birthday. Plans for a memorial service in New York are underway.
